I contacted Bill Adams, Internet Anywhere, to have my MotoSat installed and he took care of everything. Two years later, I had a problem, called tech support at MotoSat in Salt Lake City and they tried really hard for 2 days to fix the problem. I called Bill Adams, found out that he was only 100 miles away, met him in Eugene, OR and he had it fixed in an hour! Remember, anybody can install your MotoSat, but it's the after the sale service that counts. Would I buy another MotoSat from Bill or recommend my friends to buy from Bill? You bet I would. I don't care where you are, call him.If he isn't close enough to install it, he probably knows a qualified installer in your area who can.

Bill Adams is the consummate professional. A quick story: About two years ago, Bill installed the Datastorm system in our motorhome. Recently, we began having problems and checked the locator map and found that Bill was 1,000 miles away. We were in Denver, and we called a dealer there and asked him to come out and look at our system. He persuaded us that we needed to install the newest Controller and Modem, upgrade everything, and needed to change from Ground Control to MotoSat, telling us that all of our problems would be resolved. This didn't do it and the installer would not return our calls. We then called MotoSat and they shipped new parts to a supplier in another city, who replaced everything. The system worked for awhile, but then abruptly stopped again. In desperation, I called Bill Adams and explained the situation to him. He was disappointed that I had not called him but, even though he did not install the new system, he worked with me by telephone to resolve the problem. My system now works. Nobody, but nobody, is as professional as Bill Adams. Next time I need a system upgrade or new equipment, I will drive to where Bill and Janet are located, no matter how far. It is so important with this system and equipment to get the right installer the first time, and stick with him or her.

It has now been one year since you installed my MotoSAT DataStorm satellite dish on my motor home. With this year of experience under my belt I wanted to write to you and tell you about my experiences during this year. I feel that a year is a long enough time to be over the initial blush of excitement over having this satellite dish and enough time to have had sufficient problems to understand the various issues involved in having a mobile satellite Internet connection.
When I first began looking for a better connection to the Internet that my cell phone I began to talk to anyone I saw with a big dish on their RV. I got lots of mixed opinions with several people speaking of the problems they had been having. I then met a woman who raved about her dish and raved about you. Over the next few months I met two more people who raved about their dishes and who raved about you. I met other people who had far less positive things to say but none of them were your customers. That is why I asked you to install my satellite dish.
You might remember that you did my installation at the DataStorm owners rally in Tampa last year. I quickly learned that you were considered to be the best installer of this product in the nation. Everyone spoke positively of you and the quality of your work. No other installer was spoken of in that way. A number of people were deciding to pay a fee to you for future support rather than continuing to call their installers for problems. I became very happy with the decision I had made.
There is no question that mobile satellite dishes for Internet connections is a technology that is still developing. There have been more problems with getting connected than I would like. I guess in the last year I have had trouble getting on line 10 to 15 times. What constantly surprises me is that each time I call you with difficulty getting on line you have a solution. There have only been two times that you could not walk me through the steps to get connected when I was having a problem. One of those times was when the satellite itself was not working. There was nothing you could do about that. The other time was when one of my modems died. While you could not fix that by telephone you were able to quickly diagnose the problem and get new modems sent to me quickly.
Throughout this year you have been available to help whether my problems have been at 8 in the morning or on a Sunday afternoon. I have never had to go to the Motosat website to see if there is new software, I get an email from you with a download of new software when it comes out. I don?t have to spend time on the Motosat users discussion group. When anything new comes out, from a fix for a problem to the new controller, I promptly learn of it from you. You are the consummate professionals when it comes to backing up your work with quality customer service, information, and common sense. When I found myself behind a tree blocking my connection to the satellite you have still helped me to target my dish so that I could get Direct TV even though I was tree blocked from my internet connection.
With any new technology there are going to be bugs, problems that are not expected or even predictable, and various bumps in the road. In the early days of computers the after sale customer service was what allowed some computer companies to thrive while others died off. With this new technology customer service is again the key. Things are going to go wrong. Hardware is going to fault and need to be replaced. Software is going to be upgraded as computer operating systems evolve and new software always has a couple of unexpected bugs. What has kept me a happy Motosat Data Storm user and what has kept me in business as I travel the country is the two of you and the quality of your customer support.
I am currently in a campground in south Florida. There is another RV here with a Motosat dish. They also have a small dish for TV. I asked them why they have two dishes. That left me open to the litany of complaints about the problems they have had and the limited help they have received from their installer. They have accepted what I feel is unreasonable down time and put in the second dish so that when they cannot get a connection with their big dish they can at least watch TV using their small dish. I explained to them that their problems are not from the Motosat DataStorm or even because of the satellite. I told them that their only problem is that they can?t call Bill and Janet Adams when they are having a problem. When I told them that I had only been off line for 4 days in the last year, 2 days when waiting for replacement modems and 2 days when I had a tree in the way, they were shocked. I did explain that there have been hours here and there where I have not been able to get on line but that Bill Adams always manages to find a way.
There is no product available that provides the stable connections and the transfer speeds of the Motosat DataStorm. However, I can only recommend this new technology when the installation and post purchase customer service is provided by Bill & Janet Adams.

I answered your question about MotoSAT/Direcway in a hurry the other day. I highly recommend Bill Adams for the installation and purchase of the equipment. Bill will make sure the equipment is working properly after his setup. If he sells the unit and installs it, he will service it and also is available if you have problems. Every time I have called him needing help with the system, he has helped me. It doesn't cost you for this service because Bill considers you his client because of your purchase from his company.
I run Windows 2000 on my desktop and XP on the laptop. We had a little problem with setting up the Windows 2000 but Bill was able to handle it. I would recommend you run XP or XP Office Version. I run 2 flat screens on the desktop, which is the host for Direcway, and then use a wireless setup for the laptop. Bill sold us the MotoSat and the Direct TV receiver and wireless. He and his wife installed the unit and had it working in less that 6 hrs. They are very professional in the approach and do a professional installation. Again, I highly recommend Bill Adams.
Since June of this year I have only missed 1 day of trading due to the weather. We were in Charlotte, NC and we had severe overcast, wind and rain from one of the hurricanes this year. I love my system and I don't know what I would do with out it. Again I am a serious full time daytrader using a true Level II trading platform plus streaming quotes from Scottrade, plus have OptionXpress and Fidelity windows open. At the same time, I have multiple spreadsheets open and 3 chat rooms on the laptop.
If you have any questions, please ask and I will try to answer them. We are in Livingston, TX at the present time. We travel extensively and I still trade.

Gee, it's been over a year since y'all installed my DataStorm. I have to say it is one of the best products that I have ever bought. Of course one of the reasons is because of your excellent service.
When I called you and said that I wanted a DataStorm, you were in California, I was in Texas. Two weeks later you were in Texas installing my antenna.
You have talked me though several of the minor and major problems that I have had. Even when I was in a state of panic you remained calm and cool. I don't see how you do it. But glad you do.
You have made two long lasting impressions on me. One was the day after you installed my DataStorm, you and Janet left and about two hours later I called you because I couldn't stow my antenna. We talked for a few minutes and you turned around and came back and took care of the problem. You were smiling all the time. The other time was at the first annual DataStorm rally in Florida. On the last night of the rally you won a door prize. Then you and Janet called all of your customers to come to the front of the room, you had a drawing amongst us and gave your prize away. I don't think that another company in the world would do something like that. I also think that other companies, large and small, should take lessons from you.

Good morning Bill. I thought I would take a minute to thank you for all the help you have given. Since you installed the MotoSAT in my Motor Home last summer it has been a life saver. As you may recall, I am profoundly deaf and rely on the computer as the only form of communication I can use with out help. I used to have to look for a terminal to connect my laptop, but now all I have to do is turn on the computer and click on ?Find Satellite?. As you know I have had absolutely no problems with the installation and only a couple of problems with the software settings, with no down time at all. With your understanding and help the software problems were fixed without me leaving the computer. I am very happy I found you and your wife Janet while I was looking for someone to buy and install the equipment. As with most things you purchase, you have to make an appointment to take them back to the location where you bought them to have them repaired. Many of the RV parks down here have rows of palm trees, which are attractive but can wreak havoc with satellite reception. Anyhow we cranked up the dish & presto we promptly had a connection. Jill and I travel about 9 months out of the year. We own vacation rental properties that we manage while traveling. One of our biggest frustrations while traveling was the difficulty in checking our e-mail to check on rental requests and managing that website. Too often we found ourselves heading to the local library in order to get online. Many times RV parks that were supposed to be modem friendly were not.
Thus we were really excited about the DataStorm Direcway Satellite system. After talking to company representatives at MotoSAT, we were put in touch with Bill and Janet Adams of RV Satellite Sales & Service. We made arrangements to have our antenna installed in late September at an FMCA show in Hutchinson, Kansas. Knowing it was a brand new product and still in the Beta test stage, we felt some apprehension about having it installed and then just heading down the road.
Like any new product, we have had a few “glitches” along the way. However, knowing that Bill and Janet were always available gave us great comfort. When we arrived in Yuma, Arizona in December, we could not get our antenna to work. We worked with the tech. support people at Datastorm, but were unable to get the antenna working. Luckily for us, Bill and Janet were also in Arizona, enjoying the snow in Flagstaff! When they learned that we did not have our antenna problem resolved, they drove from Flagstaff to our RV resort in Yuma. Within several hours we had our problems resolved and we were back on line. Bill found the problems that DataStorm tech. support could not, and took it upon himself to make the necessary repairs.
We are now “good to go” again. We know they will not always be close enough to repeat such a feat, however, this truly exemplifies their commitment to service the products they sell. That is quite comforting and we thank them for their knowledge and desire to please.
On top of all that, we feel we have made new friends while “on the road”.

I am a full time RVer who is totally dependant on the internet for communication, financial and investment activities, news, information research, purchases and more. I narrowed my search down to 2-way satellite Internet access using the MotoSAT DataStorm.
I was very concerned about finding the right installer. There are many “store” based installers who did not use the service on a regular basis or did not have much experience installing this antenna on a motorhome. I spoke with other users who had complained that when they had a problem due to changes made by Hughes or MotoSAT, the installer did not know how to fix the problem. I asked a lot of tough questions and tried to find someone who would stand behind their product and installation and support me if I needed help down the road…..literally! I actually scared away some reputable installers with my questions. Bill was the first person I spoke with who did not shrink from being honest about possible complications, but also felt confident that he could handle most any problem. Bill, after all, lives on the road like I do and uses this same service and equipment every day. His livelihood depends on his knowledge of this service and equipment. Bill and Janet Adams installed my DataStorm in November 2002. It is now February 2003. I have never been without an internet connection for more than a day or two. The few changes that were made by Hughes were communicated to me by Bill and he was able to walk me through the changes I had to make. It was a breeze thanks to Bill. I have received e-mails from him when he had news of potential problems and knew how to handle them with ease. I am so glad that I have this service.
I hardly ever have a problem and I rarely talk to Bill, since I rarely have reason to. But I know that if I need him, he is a phone call or an e-mail away and he is unbelievably prompt and accessible. If you are reading this because you are thinking about getting this service installed, I say DO IT! But be sure to get Bill to do it for you and avoid problems that others have encountered with non-user installers. Bill will be there AFTER the sale! I cannot emphasize enough how valuable this service is. I am available if you should have further questions.

We have been living and working out of our motorhome for eight years now, and one of our biggest problems has always been communication. The wireless telephone was a big step that was so needed, but the problems with getting e-mail and getting on the Internet seemed to be hopeless. We spent a lot of money trying many things, which all only worked when we had a signal. Seems when we most needed to use it we could not. Meeting Bill and Janet Adams solved all of our problems. Stopping to ask them about the satellite dish they had on their coach was definitely the best meeting we could have had. This MotoSat DataStorm satellite dish is wonderful!!! We no longer have down time to get into the Internet, we do not need a phone line, we can download and upload with the greatest of speed any place in the United States at anytime. This system has been absolutely trouble free and a real step forward in technology. We hope all those that purchase this system enjoy it as much as we do.

We had our Datastorm Satellite System installed through Internet Anywhere in late October, 2002. Bill Adams, the owner of Internet Anywhere, went out of his way to get the system ordered and shipped to where we were going to be the following week.(we're full timers and were on the road at the time.) The system was installed by Mike Louis of Impact Wireless. Mechanical installation was done on the first day and Mike came back the next day and did the software installation. The system worked great. Up to this time we had been using a cell phone (14.4 kb) for connection to the internet and e-mail. The speed increase via the satellite system was a pure joy. Then, in December just before Christmas, an error message began popping up saying that the proxy server had not initialized properly and the program was terminated. We noticed an immediate slow down in the connection to the internet and e-mail. Checking showed the speed to be about the same as a 56 kb modem. I e-mailed and tried to call the software provider several times but received no help or helpful information. After Christmas I called Bill Adams and asked if he had any ideas. He did, and after several hours on our respective cell phones he narrowed the problem down to the anti-virus software I had installed in early December. The anti-virus program had corrupted the satellite system software.
Removal of the anti-virus software and reloading the system software and update fixed the problem. We are back on the air at high speed (1 MB/sec). It was wonderful to have Bill Adams willingly give so much of his time to solve this problem. My heartfelt thanks go to him for his help and patience.

We have had our Datastorm satellite dish and Direcway connection for several months now, and are ecstatic with the capabilities it offers us. It works so well, which we would have thought to be impossible. Until now, we were convinced (based on the research that we had done over the last couple of years) that the technology just wouldn't be viable for RV's for years to come. But it's here and it's great!. We arrive at a campground, we push a button, and we are connected to the world. Of course, I'm convinced that a lot of the success of our installation is that we found the right person to install it. Since this is an emerging technology, there are changes required over time that require adjustments. But having a service rep who really knows what he's doing, and works hard to maintain communication and service long after the sale, is critical to maintaining everything at its best. If you were going to buy a new car, wouldn’t you be interested to know what the warranty and after sale service was all about? Buying a DataStorm isn’t as expensive as a new car but with a car we know we just put the key into the ignition and off we go. Unfortunately computers don't work that way and most of us aren't technically competent enough to work on our cars let alone a sophisticated system like the DataStorm. Bill Adams is he guy who answers the phone when you call and answers the myriad of questions, including the dumb ones, with good answers and solutions to the issues that WILL come up. The service package comes with the sale and is not an add-on like you see everywhere else. It would be nice if other dealers operated the way Bill & Janet do.
